Grand day,
Hope all is well with you and yours. Today I am giving thanks for a Jim Rohn quote: “either you run the day, or the day runs you.” I have this posted on my wall at work and home to remind me to set the course of my day. When I don’t do a to do list for the day, I get home in the evening and realize I was busy but haven’t accomplish much if anything at all.
I tend to list 3-5 things to do for the day. A trick a I learned was to at least have 1-2 things that will be easy for me to get done, e.g. (say my affirmations x amount of times, take 10 deep breaths twice etc.), plus aim to get all done, but make sure I at least do 60% of my to do list. What this does is give me room for unexpected occurrences throughout the day and alleviates me becoming frustrated with self because I didn’t do what I set out to do. Give thanks.
