Grand day,
Hope all is well with you and yours. Today I am giving thanks for ability to think. For the better part of my young life, I heard a couple a saying on a regular basis, from my Dad. All about thinking: common sense is not common, (as a question) do you screw your head off and put on a hat rack when you go home, and thinking is not illegal.
When young I thought that’s, Dad just being Dad. As I got older, I knew it was with great purpose and I am forever thankful.
Common sense not common, sounds crazy initially until you experience those who have none. I believe this stems from the lack of knowledge on how our minds work. Our minds are the ultimate computer, but like a computer it only can produce what’s put into it.
The question: do you screw you head off and put on a hack rack, was just funny until again you come across people who refuse to think for themselves. We are all given a mind for use, why not use it for the good of The All, All and Self.
This last one, wasn’t hard to grasp: thinking is not illegal, because from school, sports and neighborhood activities I seen those who look to profit on others who didn’t think. E.G. in football they tried to make us as young black men believe that we weren’t able to play positions of thought (quarterback, center, middle linebacker and free safety). Thankfully, there were those who took the initiative to create their own organizations and provide the opportunities for us.
Now I remember being told to think outside the box. Like with what I experience in football, it is those who in life who promote and benefit off others not thinking. That’s where the box is, from those who profit off individuals who they can label and manipulate. Choose to go against the grain, see the crowd and run the other way.
Peace
